Audrey Schweiger, MSc, RN, CTH
In 2013, she graduated with highest honors from Montgomery College’s RN Associate’s degree program and was the recipient of the Professional and Academic Excellence Award. She was also nominated for the Helen Statts Faculty Award “to the graduate who has demonstrated leadership potential and is predicted to make the greatest contribution to the community as a nurse.” She joined Occupational Health Consultants as an RN in 2013. In 2015 she was trained in travel nursing, providing international travel health advice, vaccines and prescriptions for travelers of all ages. In 2019 she passed the International Society of Travel Medicine’s exam to
earn the Certificate in Travel Health.
After completing her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Bucknell University, she enrolled in a chemistry Master’s program with a focus in analytical chemistry. During the 2 year program, she served as a teaching assistant and conducted research that culminated in a publication in the Journal of Clinical Chemistry. Upon graduating, she worked in the Laboratory of Immunology at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH) as a chemist
for 2 years. She then took a job at Perkin-Elmer Corp. as an applications scientist in their Analytical Instrumentation Division as a chromatography specialist.
